This petition was filed alleging contempt of the ad-interim order dated 16th January, 2018 on the basis that despite the ad-interim protection granted, the respondents had not paid salary of the petitioners. Learned counsel for the Respondents state that unpaid salaries have since been paid. By a separate order passed yesterday, the above writ petition along with all connected writ petitions have been dismissed. However, the ad-interim protection granted has been continued for eight weeks. 1/2

Learned counsel for the corporation states on instructions of Mr.Deepak Kurlekar, Deputy Municipal Commissioner that in respect of the petitioners the order of status quo in the Writ Petition including timely payment of wages will be complied with.
