By this application, the applicant seeks his enlargement on bail in connection with Case No. RC/BA1/2016/A0005, registered with the CBI, Anti-Corruption Bureau, Mumbai, for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 7 and 13 of the Prevention of Corruption Act. 1/3

The applicant was working with the Central Railway at Manmad as a Senior Divisional Engineer, when the trap was laid. It is alleged that the applicant was apprehended on the spot, accepting an amount of Rs.5,000/- towards part payment out of a demand of Rs.20,000/-. The applicant is presently in judicial custody. 4.
Considering the fact, that the applicant is presently in judicial custody, the applicant is enlarged on bail on the following terms and conditions :
ORDER
(i) The applicant be enlarged on bail, on executing PR Bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount. (ii) The applicant shall attend the office of the CBI, once a month i.e. on first Monday, between 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., till the filing of the charge-sheet;
(iii) The applicant shall not tamper or attempt to influence or contact the complainant, witnesses or any person concerned with the 2/3

(iv) The applicant to cooperate with the conduct of the trial; 5.
The Application is allowed in the aforesaid terms and is accordingly disposed of.

It is made clear that the observations made herein are prima facie, and the trial Court shall decide the case on its own merits, in accordance with law, uninfluenced by the observations made in this order. 7.
