This is an application for expediting the hearing of Sessions Case No.74 of 2015 pending on the file of Additional District and Sessions Court, Kalyan. The record indicates that the date of incident is 9.6.2014.The record further indicates that the said case has been committed to the Court of Sessions on 18.2.2015.

The learned counsel for the applicant submitted that though the case has been committed to the Court of Sessions on 18.2.2015, till date the trial has not been commenced. The record further indicates that due to the alleged assault on the first informant she had tried to

2 /2 3-appln.132-17 commit suicide and thereafter the present crime is registered with the Mahatma Phule Chowk Police Station, Kalyan.

In view of the above, the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Kalyan seized of the Sessions Case No.74/2015 is hereby directed to conclude the trial of the said case within a period of one year from the date of receipt of the present order.
