It is not disputed that the issue raised in this Petition would be governed by the order dated 14th January, 2019 passed in the Writ Petition No. 1117 of 2018 and connected matters (Laxman Ganpat Lokhande V/s State of Maharashtra & Ors.) 2.

In the circumstances, we pass the same order and direct that the acquisition proceeding in respect of the land belonging to the Petitioner shall be deemed to have lapsed and the appropriate Government, if it so chooses, shall initiate proceedings of such land acquisition afresh in accordance with the provisions of the Act of 2013. 3.
