The short grievance of the Petitioner is that the Petitioner though entitled to drawback with interest, the same is not being paid to the Petitioner. The learned counsel for the Petitioner has drawn our attention to the representations made by the Petitioner apart from the fact that shipping bills itself are to be considered as applications, and that these have not been answered. The learned counsel for the Respondents states that it is correct that such applications/ representations have been made by the Petitioner but due to ongoing investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation the applications have not been decided and necessary

skn 2 9-WP-13565.2022.doc permission is sought from the Central Bureau of Investigation. Subject to the same, we direct that the applications/ representations of the Petitioner be responded by the concerned Respondent in writing within eight weeks.
