The learned Counsel for the parties that is Shri C.M. Lokesh for the Appellant and Shri. S.R. Kulkarni for the Respondent tender the Consent Terms evidencing the settlement arrived at between the parties. The said Consent Terms have been signed by Shri. C.M. Lokesh on behalf of Shri. G.S. Hegde, the Advocate on record and have been signed by the Respondent Shri. Gajanan D. Sharayu.

The learned Counsel Shri Lokesh states that the acceptance of the Consent Terms has been communicated to Shri. G.S. Hegde by the Law Officer of the Appellant vide letter No. ST/LEGAL/5/MAC/HC/ 984/2418 dated 12th July 2016. It is on the basis of the said letter that Shri C.M. Lokesh has signed the Consent Terms.

The Respondent who is personally present in Court on being queried states that the Consent Terms are acceptable to him and that he has signed them on his own free will and volition. The Consent Terms are taken on record and marked "X" for identification. The above First Appeal is disposed of in terms of the said Consent Terms.

The copy of the letter dated 12th July 2016 is also taken on record and marked "Y" for identification.
