In Crime No. 214 of 2018 for an offence punishable under Sections 364-A, 341, 506(2), 384, 385, 386, 387 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 (25) & 27 of the Indian Arms Act, the Applicant is seeking pre-arrest bail.

The cash involved in the offence in question is recovered from the locker of the present Applicant which he is operating from the police station where he was posted. The Applicant has neither taken station-diary entry nor informed the Superior Officer about he is having received the amount, which he claimed to be a bona fide act.

There is sufficient material available on record to infer prima facie involvement. As such, the present Anticipatory Bail Application lacks merit. Hence, the same stands rejected.
