Learned APP tenders a report dated 06.10.2022 received from Senior Superintendent, Thane Central Jail which states that, Petitioner has been released from prison on 08.09.2021.

2. In that view of the matter, grievance of the Petitioner in the Petition for taking appropriate action against certain Police Officers of Powai Police Station cannot be acceded to. However, Petitioner is at liberty to file appropriate complaint or take steps for redressal of his grievance if he so desires and if permissible in law.

3. With the above direction, Writ Petition stands disposed of.
