Petitioner is a life convict serving sentence in Nashik Road Central Prison, Nashik.

2. In the present Petition, Petitioner has filed representation dated 02.03.2020 to this Court stating that in the year 2018 he had made an Application for seeking furlough leave, but he could not avail the same and his request came to be rejected. 3.

Learned APP has submitted a report dated 06.10.2022 filed by the Superintendent, Nashik Road Central Prison, Nashik which states that the Petitioner has in fact been granted furlough leave, however since he has not been able to fulfill the terms and conditions for giving solvent surety so as to enable him to be released, he is still in jail.

We have perused the report. In view of the said report, grievance of the Petitioner in the present Writ Petition does 1/2

1152.wp.1566.20.doc not subsist. Needless to state that Petitioner shall be entitled to furlough leave on fulfillment of the terms and conditions in accordance with law.
