38 wp 973.17.doc IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY CRIMINAL APPELLATE JURISDICTION CRIMINAL WRIT PETITION NO.973 OF 2017 Mr. Kishor Ramesh Sohoni .....Petitioner versus The State of Maharashtra .....Respondent Ms. Sadhna Kumar, advocate for the petitioner. Ms. R. M. Gadhvi, APP for the State.

CORAM : RANJIT MORE & SMT.ANUJA PRABHUDESSAI, JJ.

DATE : 24th APRIL, 2017.

P. C. :

The petition is filed seeking direction to register a FIR against the persons named in the petitioner's complaint and transfer the investigation of the subject matter to the CBI. 2.

We have gone through the petition as well as the petitioner's complaint. Both the petition and the complaint are based on the information received by the petitioner through newspaper and social networking sites. The allegations made against the Senior Police Inspector are ominous. Based on such allegations, FIR cannot be ordered to be registered. We, therefore, do not find any merit in the petition and the same is, accordingly, dismissed. (SMT. ANUJA PRABHUDESSAI, J.) [RANJIT MORE, J.] Shubhada S Kadam 1/1
