The Petitioner is transferred by order dated 9 February 2024 from Satara Zone to Chandigarh by the Respondent- Bank. This order of transfer is challenged in this petition. 2.

That the Petitioner's post transferable is not in dispute. The Petitioner relies on the guidelines issued by the Respondent - Bank laying down the transfer policy.

The learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that the Petitioner has made a representation for considering his case sympathetically to the concerned officer and seeks direction that the

The Petitioner has not joined the transfer post as on date for almost a month. This cannot be countenanced. For consideration of the representation, the Petitioner must join duty on the transferred post.

The Petitioner will join duty within three working days from the date order is uploaded. We direct that if the Petitioner makes a representation, if not already made, to the Respondent- Bank, the Respondent- Bank will consider the representation as per transfer policy within a period of two weeks thereafter and communicate the reason to the Petitioner.
