The Mediator appointed by this Court, Mr.Vishal Kanade has submitted his fnal report. The report is placed before me by the Main Mediation Centre vide it's communication letter dated 05/09/2022. The report is taken on record and marked 'X' for identifcation.

The report records that several meetings were held between the parties and despite sincere efforts, the parties are unable to agree modality for disbursement of an agreed amount of Rs.67 Lakhs. It is, therefore, reported that the mediation has failed.

2/2 13 ABA-653-21.doc Learned counsel for the applicant and the complainant at ad idem that the parties were referred to the Supreme Court Mediation Centre and it is informed that mediation was successful. A report to that effect has been forwarded to the Hon'ble Court and it is reported that the matter is scheduled for hearing on 01/10/2022.

Accepting the aforesaid statement, since the parties have amicably settled the dispute, I do not think any propriety in continuing the present proceedings. Resultantly, order dated 10/03/2021, whereby the applicant was protected from arrest in C.R.No.322 of 2020, is made absolute.
