By this petition, the petitioner has challenged the order disqualifying him as a Sarpanch. This Court, by order dated 21st April, 2008, had granted stay to the order of disqualification. The petitioner has already completed his term as a Sarpanch. In view of the passage of time, no fruitful purpose will be served in deciding the matter on merits. Accordingly, nothing survives for consideration and the petition is disposed of.
