It is a group of Civil Applications filed under the Land Acquisition Act by the Executive Engineer, Karanjwan Dam Division, Nashik, wherein the same judgment and award in 27 Land References dated 3.8.2012 passed by the learned IV Joint Civil Judge, Senior Division, Nashik, is challenged. 2 / 4

There is a delay of two years and 85 days. It is submitted by the learned Counsel for the applicants that the delay has occurred due to the reasons mentioned in the paragraph 5 of the applications for condonation of delay. It is submitted that it was because of a change of advocates and some administrative delay.

Learned Counsel for the respondents is present and opposes the applications for condonation of delay.

For the reasons stated in the Civil Applications, the delay in filing the First Appeals is hereby condoned. Civil Applications for condonation of delay are allowed. Appeals be registered.

As regards the Civil Applications for stay, the learned Counsel for the applicant prays for stay of the operation and implementation of the impugned judgement and award dated 3.8.2012 passed in various Land References by the learned IV Joint Civil Judge, Senior Division, Nashik in Land Reference No.24 of 2000 and other connected Land References. She submits that the applicant has deposited the entire decretal amount of the award with interest accrued thereon.

In view of these submissions, the impugned judgment and award is hereby stayed pending admission.

All the Civil Applications for condonation of delay and stay are disposed of accordingly.
