By the present application, the applicant seeks protection from arrest in connection with a preliminary enquiry conducted by the EOW, Mumbai, instituted on the basis of the allegations stated in the application. In the alternative, a 72 hours prior notice before arrest is sought for. 2.

The learned Public Prosecutor Mrs.Pai, on instructions of Sr.P.I. Shri Vinay Ghorpade, EOW, GC, Unit IV who is present in the Court, makes a categorical statement that till this date, no preliminary enquiry is registered.
