By this petition, the petitioner seeks quashing and setting aside of the circular bearing No. DGP/15/68/A6/THANE RURAL/ 614/2001 dated 22nd September, 2001 annexed at Exhibit AExhibit A/1 issued by the respondent no. 2 i.e. Director General by RAJESHWARI RAMESH PILLAI Date:

The grievance of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the said circular is unconstitutional and contrary to law and that no such direction can be passed by any authority "not to take any actions on the Applications/Complaints of the Petitioner and or his Committee."

Learned APP on instructions submits that the said circular has been withdrawn by the office of the Respondent no. 2 - Director General of Police.

In view of the statement made by the learned APP, that the impugned circular has been withdrawn, nothing survives for further consideration in the petition. Petition stands disposed. All concerned to act on the authenticated copy of this order. GAURI GODSE, J.
