Vide ad-interim stay dated 21st January 2021, the Petitioner was directed to deposit 50% of the amount i.e. Rs.33,50,200/-. After that as per Amesty Scheme declared by the Government for the year 2022, the Petitioner has taken benefit of the scheme and the Government has waived off 90% of the amount with direction to deposit 10% and accordingly, the Petitioner has deposited Rs.6,70,100/-. A copy of the said order issued by Joint District Registrar, Sangli, dated 20th October 2022 is placed on record and it is marked as Annexure-X. It is accompanied by copy of the challan for

Now the Petitioner do not want to prosecute this Petition further. He wants to withdraw the amount deposited by him. A letter given by the Petitioner to learned Advocate for withdrawal dated 2nd November 2022, is taken on record and marked as Annexure-Y. In view of that the Petition is disposed of as withdrawn. 4.

The Petitioner is permitted to withdraw the amount Rs.33,50,200/- with interest (if the amount is invested) as per Rules. Office to transfer that amount in the bank account of the Petitioner on furnishing necessary bank details.
