This is an application seeking permission to apply for fresh passport with concerned Authority by the applicant.

The applicant is convicted under Section 306 of Indian Penal Code by the learned District Judge-9 and Additional Sessions Judge, Thane in Sessions Case No.732 of 2012. The appeal preferred by the applicant is admitted by this Court on 28.10.2016 and the applicant has been released on bail.

In view of the above and for the reasons stated in the application, the present application is allowed and the applicant is permitted to file an application before the competent Authority for issuance of passport. The concerned Authority will consider the application of the applicant as per the provisions of law, rules and regulations framed therein. 4.
