We are inclined to dispose of this Writ Petition at this stage itself. The petition is filed on 4 February 2016, where the prayer is made to expeditiously dispose of the misc. Application filed under Section 14 of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Mumbai. The application is still pending since March 2014.

In view of the amendment to the provisions of Section
Yadav V.G. 2 19.wp.5563.16.odt. 14 of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002, it is necessary now for the authority concerned to dispose of such application, if it is in order, within 30 days and in given case by recording reasons within 60 days. Therefore, we are inclined to direct the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Mumbai to dispose of the application under Section 14 of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002, so filed by the Bank as early as possible preferrably within 30 days in accordance with law.
