The applicant is arrested on 12th September, 2020 in connection with C.R. No. 292 of 2020, registered with Dharavi Police Station, Mumbai for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 465, 467, 468 r/w. 34 of IPC. The FIR was registered on 21st July, 2020.

The case of the complainant and the other witnesses is that the applicant had collected amount from various persons for joining morcha at Delhi from 2017 to December, 2019. List of persons who have contributed, is reflected in the FIR. It is alleged that Rs.31,40,000/- was collected in cash. Subsequently, the amount was to be returned. The currency notes which were handed over to

aggrieved persons were found to be fake. Even the demand draft was fabricated.

Learned APP submitted that the similar FIR was registered against the applicant at other Police Station. It appears that the FIR are arising out of the same series of transactions, but the complaints were lodged by different victim at different police stations. The applicant is granted bail in two cases and in one case the applicant has not been arrested. The FIR would indicate that amount was collected from 2017 to 2019. The FIR was registered in July, 2020. Investigation is completed and the charge-sheet has been filed. Further detention is not necessary.

Hence, I pass the following order.

O R D E R

i) Bail Application No. 1106 of 2021, is allowed; ii) The applicant is directed to be released on bail in connection with C.R. No. 292 of 2020, registered with Dharavi Police Station on furnishing P.R. bond in the sum of Rs. 25,000/-(Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) with one or more local sureties in the like amount;

iii) The applicant shall report concerned police

station once in three months on every first Saturday between 11.00 am. to 1.00 pm. till further order.

iv) The applicant is permitted to furnish provisional Cash Bail Security in the sum of Rs.25,000/- for a period of eight weeks in lieu of surety;

v) Bail Application stands disposed of accordingly. (PRAKASH D. NAIK, J.)
