The Applicant seeks pre-arrest bail in Crime No.1297 of 2022 registered with Oshiwara Police Station, Mumbai, for the offences punishable under Sections 419, 420, 465, 467, 468 and 471 of the IPC.

Heard Mr. Caszo, learned counsel for the Applicant and Mr. Gavand, learned APP for the Respondent-State. I have perused the records and considered the submissions advanced by the learned counsel for the respective parties.

Considering the fact that the FIR is in respect of forgery committed in the year 2003 this Court by reasoned order dated 1/2

Megha 31_aba_679_2023.doc 06/03/2023 granted interim protection to the Applicant and directed to report to the Investigating Officer and co-operate with the investigation.

Learned APP states that the Applicant has co-operated with the investigation and that he has been interrogated. 5.

Considering the said statement as well as the reasons stated in the order dated 06/03/2023, this is a fit case to exercise discretion under Section 438 of the Cr.P.C. Hence, order dated 06/03/2023 is confirmed. The Applicant is directed to report to the Investigating Officer as and when required by the Investigating Officer. 6.

The Applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence and or influence the witnesses in any manner. 7.

The Applicant shall keep the Investigating Officer informed of his current address and mobile contact numbers, and /or change of residence or mobile details, if any, from time to time. 8.

The application stands disposed of.
