This Application is filed for condonation of delay of 77 days caused in filing the Appeal. This Applicant is convicted for the offence punishable under Section 376(2) (j) who is sentenced to suffer R.I. for 10 years and to pay fine of Rs.2,000/- in default to suffer R.I. for 1 month. 2.

It is stated in the Application that the Applicant was not aware of his right to file the Appeal. As he is in jail, he also could not immediately contact his lawyer. For this reason delay is caused. 3.

This Court finds that case is made out to allow the Application by condoning the delay. Delay is thus condoned. Manoj
