1] The learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that after the Petition is filed, the Block Development Officer has forwarded the report to the Chief Executive Officer.

2] The Petitioner has moved the proceedings u/s 39 of the Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act against the present Respondent No.5.

3] In view of the fact that the Block Development Officer has forwarded the report to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Executive Officer shall immediately forward the report to the concerned 1/2

(20) WP-5040-2022.doc Competent Authority and the Competent Authority shall take further steps in accordance with provisions of law and after hearing all the parties concerned. The said proceedings shall be decided expeditiously.

4] Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
