The Applicant is already admitted to interim protection by order dated 10/03/2021 in the wake of offences under Sections 354A and 354B of the IPC being invoked.

The statement of learned A.P.P. is recorded in para 7 of the said order to the effect that there is a likelihood of invoking Sections 354 of the IPC against the Applicant. However, today, learned A.P.P. makes a statement, on instructions from the AJN

2/2 07 ABA-671.21.odt Investigating Officer, that the prosecution is not proposing to invoke the said section. In such circumstances, the order dated 10/03/2021 deserves to be confirmed.

In view of the compliance of the stipulation contained in the order dated 10/03/2021 at the instance of the Applicant, the order dated 10/03/2021 is confirmed subject to condition that the Applicant shall continue to render his co-operation in the investigation.

The Anticipatory Bail Application is disposed of in the aforestated terms.
