This Writ Petition is filed by Original Defendant, challenging an order passed on Exhibit-8, in Appeal No.379 of 2016, pending before the Appellate Bench of the Court of Small Causes. By the impugned order the Original Defendant was directed to deposit a sum of Rs.3,500/- per month as compensation. Pending the hearing of the appeal, and the decree as a Trial Court was stayed. 2.

Mr. R. R. Nair appearing for the Respondent/Landlord submits that Pendency of the Petition, the Appeal No.379 of 2016 was disposed of on 6 January 2023 by the Appellate Bench of the Court of Small Causes. Hence, according to me, nothing survive in this Petition. 3.
