Heard learned counsel Ms. Saili Dhuru appearing with Mr. Tanaji S. Solankar for the Applicant. By inviting our attention to the reasons assigned in the application for condonation of delay and more particularly in paragraph no.2 of the application, learned counsel submitted that since after the impugned judgment and order, the Applicant is lodged in prison and as such it was difÏcult to take necessary steps, such as engaging an advocate and filing the appeal within time. It is also stated that the Applicants are the only bread-winners in the family and as they have been undergoing sentence, the family was facing financial hardships; their family members thereafter made some arrangement by raising funds and took necessary steps. submitted that thus the delay occurred in filing appeal is for purely bonafide reasons and is unintentional.
