Heard Mr. Bagal, the learned Counsel for the petitioner. 2.

It is informed that Regular Civil Appeal No.85 of 2012, wherein the appellant sought amendment in the petition under the Hindu Marriage Act, has itself been dismissed for default of appearance of the appellant. In the circumstances, the instant petition becomes infructuous. In the event, the appeal is restored to fle and the petitioner still desires to pursue the challenge raised in the instant petition, the petitioner shall be at liberty to initiate appropriate proceedings.

With the above observations, the petition stands disposed of.
