The Family Court awarded maintenance of Rs.25,000/- towards household expenses in favour of the respondent - wife and actual outgoing expenses such as electricity bill, cable bill, society charges, municipal and water taxes, gas bill and telephone as against the claim for maintenance towards the expenses for child so also the respondent - wife.

Based on the appointment letter of the petitioner dated 23rd October, 2017, the Family Court appreciated the cumulative income of the petitioner - husband to the tune of Rs.25,00,000/- per annum and has proceeded to award the maintenance. 3.

As such, award of maintenance which is interim in nature appears to be tune with the source of income of the BGP.

As far as the claim for reduction is concerned, in my opinion, the reasons given by the Family Court in refusing review its aforesaid order is very much justifiable. 5.

That being so, no case for interference is made out. 6.

As far as the claim of the petitioner that he has lost his job or there is reduction in his income subsequent to passing of the aforesaid impugned order can be looked into by the Court below in case if appropriate proceedings are taken out by the petitioner in accordance with law.
