It is informed that the applicants are facing proceeding under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act. Apart from above, the Counsel appearing for the applicants, on instructions, made a categorical statement that the Complainant is paid an amount of Rs.9,89,000/-. Since the statement is made on instructions, the same is accepted as an undertaking to this Court.

In the aforesaid backdrop, ad-interim order passed by this Court (Coram : Prakash D. Naik, J) dated 1st March, 2019 stands confirmed. Hence, following order.

O R D E R

1.In the event of arrest in MECR No.4 of 2018, registered with D.N. Nagar Police Station, for the offence punishable under Sections 406, 420, 465, 468, 471 read with 34 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code, the applicants be released on bail on their executing P.R. bonds in the sum of Rs.25,000/- each with one or more solvent sureties in the like amount.

2.The Applicants shall not tamper with the evidence or attempt to influence/contact the complainant, witnesses or any person concerned with the case. 3.The Applicants shall attend Investigating Officer as and when directed.

The application stands disposed of.
