Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner is not pressing petition on merits. He seeks expeditious disposal of the adjudication to be made on the basis of demand notice and the disposal of the application for refund. Hence we pass the following order:- (a) We direct the second respondent to take appropriate decision on the demand notices dated 4th September, 2015, 30th September, 2015, 15th October, 2015, 3rd November, 2015 and 3rd February, 2016 after giving an opportunity of being heard to the petitioner. Appropriate orders shall be passed by the second
5-wp-3383-2016 respondent in accordance with Section 32(A) of The Maharashtra Stamp Act, 1958 within a period of three months from today;
(b) The application for refund made by the petitioner dated 3rd February, 2016 [Exhibit-I to the petition] shall be finally decided within a period of two months from the date on which second respondent passes final order on adjudication made pursuant to the aforesaid Show Cause Notices.
(c) All contentions on merits are kept open.
