By this petition, the petitioner seeks quashing of the FIR, registered vide C.R.No. 163 of 2018 with the Mundhava Police Station, Pune, for the alleged offences punishable under Section 354A of the Indian Penal Code. Quashing is sought on the premise that the parties have amicably settled their dispute.

Having perused the first informant's (respondent No.2) statement/FIR, we are not inclined to quash the proceeding with the consent of the parties.

Accordingly, the petition is dismissed.

Needless to state, that the learned Judge to conduct the trial expeditiously, on its own merits, uninfluenced by the dismissal of the petition.
