Challenge the order of maintenance granted to the wife, there is no dispute about relationship. From the record, it appears that the gross salary of the petitioner in April 2022 was Rs.89,104/-.The monthly maintenance granted to respondent/wife is Rs.7,500/- and Rs.1,500/- is granted towards travelling expenses whenever she attends the Court.

Therefore, in my opinion, the amount of maintenance granted cannot be termed as unreasonable.

The writ petition is, therefore, dismissed. No costs. (AMIT BORKAR, J.)
