Heard learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP.

This is an application for bail by the applicantSiddhesh @ Dharamdas Shivaji Redkar in connection with C.R. No.76 of 2019 dated 28/05/2019, registered with Jogeshwari Police Station, under sections 406, 420 and 170 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereafter "IPC", for short). 3.

It is alleged that the applicant has collected around Rs. 54,00,000/- from various persons. The applicant projected himself to be an officer of the Intelligence Bureau, 1/3

Government of India and induced various persons to part with considerable sums of money for investing in petrol pump business and also assuring that he will secure employment for the needy persons.

The applicant was arrested on 04/07/2019 and he has undergone almost half of the maximum sentence punishable under section 420 of IPC. I am informed that even the charge has not been framed before the trial Court. No purpose will be served by prolonging the custody of the applicant as this will only be by way of punishment. The applicant can be released on bail. Hence, the following order.

: ORDER :

(a) Applicant- Siddhesh @ Dharamdas Shivaji Redkar shall be released on bail in connection with C.R. No.76 of 2019 dated 28/05/2019, registered with Jogeshwari Police Station, on furnishing P.R. Bond of Rs.25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount.

(b) The applicant shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing the facts to 2/3

Court or any Police Officer. The applicant shall not tamper with evidence.

(c) On being released on bail, the applicant shall furnish his contact number and residential address to the Investigating Officer and shall keep him updated, in case there is any change. (d) The applicant shall report to the Jogeshwari police station on 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon.
