By this petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, Petitioner seeks direction against the Respondent no.1 bank to issue fresh D/D in favour of Mr.Prakash in the sum of Rs.20,00,000/- which was lost by the Petitioner. 3.

The learned counsel for the Respondent bank submits that as per earlier order passed by this court, Petitioner requested the bank for cancellation of the Demand Draft. She submits that she received instruction from the Mohite 1/2

20 wp954-21.odt concerned officer that on or before 15.09.2021 they will credit the said amount in the account of the Petitioner from which the amount was paid for issuing Demand Draft. Statement is accepted.

In view of the statement made by the learned counsel for the bank, following order is passed:

a.

Writ Petition stands disposed of as Respondent is ready and willing to credit the amount of Rs.20,00,000/- in the account of the Petitioner.

b.

No order as to costs.
