These Civil Applications are taken out for getting the writ petitions placed on board for final hearing on a fixed date. The petitions are of the year 2010. The applicants had filed an application

Dusane 2/2 CAW918-920 for expeditious hearing of the writ petitions, which was rejected holding that no compelling reasons are made out for expediting the hearing of the writ petitions. Despite that order, the applicants had filed a civil application for fixing up an early date of hearing, which was disposed off on 12th February, 2014. By the order passed on that day, the civil application is dismissed but liberty was granted to the applicants to move the court after six months for similar reliefs. Mr. Patil submits that the present civil applications have been taken out in exercise of that liberty.

Once the civil application taken out by the applicants for expeditious hearing of the writ petitions is rejected, there can be no question of fixing up of an early date of hearing. Hence, the civil applications are dismissed.
