Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner and the learned AGP for the State, we are of the opinion that this petition can be conveniently disposed of by directing Respondent no.5-Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Kolhapur to decide the representation/proposal dated 30th May 2014 filed by Respondent Nos. 6 and 7 (copy of which is annexed as page Habeeb 1/2

P37.wp.3012.17.doc 31 to the petition) which is received in the office of Respondent no.5-Education Officer on 21st July 2014 if not already decided, as expeditiously as possible, and within the period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the order.

Till the Petitioner's claim is decided, the Respondents are directed to maintain the status quo as it exists today in respect of the post occupied by the Petitioner.

The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
