The applicant-accused is prosecuted for the offences punishable under sections 354, 354D of the Indian Penal Code in C.R. No.I-04/2016 registered with Safale police station, Palghar on 1.2.2016 at the instance of the prosecutrix.

It is the case of the prosecutrix that on 31.1.2016, he phoned her and told that he will wait for her near one school and thereafter at around 9.30 pm on that day, when she went there, the applicant-accused told her that he liked her very much and hugged her and then ran away. Hence, the offence is registered.

Earlier, interim protection was granted on 9.3.2016. It is informed that the pursuant to the said order, the applicant-accused attended the 1 / 2

aba.435.2016_12.doc police station. The prosecutrix is 20 years old and the applicant-accused is 23 years old.

Considering the nature of offence, the interim pre-arrest bail granted on 9.3.2016 is confirmed. The applicant-accused shall not keep any contact with the prosecutrix and he is directed to attend the concerned police station as and when required.
