Heard learned counsel for the parties for sometime. 2.

The only request on behalf of the Applicant is for expediting the Trial. The record discloses that while disposing of Criminal Bail Application No.756 of 2019 the trial was expedited.

Lastly by an order dated 23 June 2021 the period for disposal of the Sessions case was extended by 12 months from December 2020.

The record does not disclose that thereafter any request for extension is made.

The learned counsel for the Applicant states that the prosecution evidence has concluded, except the examination of the Investigating Officer.

In that view of the matter, the Criminal Application is disposed of. The learned Sessions Court shall decide the Sessions case as expeditiously as possible and in any event on or before 31 May 2022.
