The petition is filed for direction to respondents to take cognizance of petitioner's complaint dated 29th January, 2014 and subsequent letter dated 7th March, 2014. Mr. Yagnik, learned APP, having taken instructions from the officer concerned, makes a statement that in pursuance of the said complaint, the petitioner's statement came to be recorded, preliminary inquiry was held and it was concluded that the dispute is of civil nature. The petitioner is also, accordingly, communicated. In support of the statement, he tenders a letter dated 23rd September, 2014 of Senior Police Inspector, Nirmal Nagar Police Station, Mumbai. The said letter is taken on record. In the light of the said statement and the letter, we are not inclined to entertain the petition. The petition, accordingly, stands dismissed.
