Pursuant to the directions given by this Court, the Petitioners have filed an appeal under Section 47 of the MRTP Act to the competent authority. That appeal is pending. The interim order which was granted by this Court expires today. The grievance of the Petitioners is that the appellate authority has not considered his application for continuation of the interim relief. In our view, petition can be conveniently disposed of by directing the appellate authority to 1 / 2

WP. 3199-16 decide the appeal expeditiously, preferably within four weeks. The interim relief granted by this Court shall continue during pendency of the appeal. The Petitioners shall cooperate the appellate authority and shall not take any date. Writ petition is accordingly disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
