The applicant herein granted interim relief vide order dated 8th March, 2018 (Coram : P.N. Deshmukh, J.). This Court had directed the applicant to mark his presence with the Investigating Officer from 10th March 2018 for a period of one week and thereafter as and when called.

It is pertinent to note that no application was filed with the Economic Offence Wing till 2nd July 2018. On 2nd July 2018, a

Dusane 2/2 40 aba 451.2018.doc letter addressed by Advocate, Mr. Ravi Jadhav was sent to the Investigating Officer and it was stated that since he was being threatened by some persons, he was unable to cause his presence and the Economic Offence Wing was informed that since the scheduled date is 10th July 2018, they would inform the same to the Court. It is pertinent to note that this aspect was never brought before the Court, during the week in which the applicant was supposed to attend the police station. It is therefore clear that the conduct of the accused-applicant does not inspire confidence of the Court as there has been a breach of the order dated 8th March, 2018. The application seeking pre-arrest bail stands rejected. Needless to say that the interim relief stands vacated. ( Smt. Sadhana S. Jadhav, J)
