On 12 September 2023 the following order was passed: "The learned counsel for Respondent No.2-Central Registrar Of Co-operative Societies states that pursuant to the order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Interim Application No.56308/2023 dated 29 March 2023, certain modalities have been developed including creation of online Portal wherein parties such as the Petitioners can apply. He states that these modalities will be placed on record by way of an affidavit. Once the modalities so placed on record, the Petitioner can be directed to proceed as per the said modalities.

Stand over to 12 October 2023 for filing the Affidavit."

J.R.Mane 2 16-WP 5465-23.doc The learned Counsel for Respondent No.2 tenders reply affidavit, filed by the Central Registrar of the Co-operative Society, wherein it is stated as under:

"5.

In pursuance of the order of the Supreme Court, the Respondent No.2, Department, has started an online portal namely "Sahara-CRCS Refund Portal" which has been developed by submission of claims by genuine depositors of the four Multi-State Cooperative Societies of Sahara Group. 6.

The portal has been launched on 18th July, 2023 and can be accessed through Ministry of Cooperation website https:/cooperation.gov.in and https://mocrefund.crcs.gov.in. The genuine depositors of these Societies may login the portal and submit their refund claims by filing online application and upload requisite documents i.e. proof of their deposits and claims.

It is submitted that only claims filed through online portal will be entertained and subject to all the conditions being complied with, the payment as per availability of funds will be credited in their Aadhar Link Bank Account within 45 days of filing of claims and they will be intimated of the status through SMS portal."

The learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that the Petitioner has already applied online as stated in the reply above. The learned counsel states that now the Petitioner has lodged his claim upon a portal specifically created for citizens such as the Petitioner. No further orders are required to be passed. The claim of the Petitioner would be processed as per the methodology already laid down.

Writ Petition is disposed of .
