Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned counsel for the respondent no.2.

Learned Counsel for the applicant states that pursuant to the order dated 10th August, 2016, the applicant has deposited a sum of Rs.2.5 lacs, in the Appellate Court. He submitted that earlier the applicant had deposited a sum of Rs.5 lacs in the Appellate Court.

In view of the deposit of Rs.7.5 lacs in the Appellate Court, nothing survives for consideration in the said application. The same is disposed of accordingly.

The Appellate Court shall hear the Appeal and decide the same, as expeditiously as possible.

It is made clear, that the applicant's sentence stands suspended till the appeal is finally decided, as the applicant has deposited Rs.7.5 lacs in the Appellate Court.
