The applicant is seeking pre-arrest bail in Crime No.78 of 2021 registered with Manchar Police Station, Pune (Rural) for the offence punishable under Sections 384, 385, 504 r/w. Section 34 IPC. 3.

The allegations are, the applicant has threatened the complainant and tried to extort money. The contents of the complaint are based on the hearsay evidence. There is hardly any material to connect the applicant in the offence in question, particularly when the applicant has not interacted with the complainant demanding money. 4.

Apart from the above, there is delay in lodging the FIR, which is also not explained. As such, ad-interim protection stands confirmed. 5.

In the event of arrest of the applicant in Crime No.78 of 2021 registered with Manchar Police Station, Pune (Rural) for the offence punishable under Sections 384, 385, 504 r/w. Section 34 IPC, he be released on bail on executing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/ with one or two sureties in the like amount. Applicant shall attend the Investigating Officer as and when directed by the Investigating Officer. The said applicant shall not directly or indirectly try to influence the prosecution witnesses and tamper with the evidence. 6.
