CORAM : RANJIT MORE AND V.L.ACHLIYA, JJ.

DATED : 18th NOVEMBER, 2015 P.C. :- Heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the learned A.P.P. for the State.

2.

The petition is filed for quashing the F.I.R. bearing No. 127 of 2014 registered with the Manikpur Police Station, Thane for the offence punishable under section 498A, 306, 323 and 504 of Indian Penal Code. The learned counsel for the petitioner submit that the petitioner's wife committed suicide on 11th April, 2014 and FIR was registered after one month and therefore, the F.I.R. deserves to be quashed. The said submission cannot be accepted as the delay in filing of the FIR cannot be a ground for quashing the F.I.R. Be that as it may, we have also gone through copy of F.I.R. annexed at Exhibit-A. Same prima facie disclose commission 1/2

3-apl-1050.2014 of offence.

3.

In the above circumstances, we do not find merit in the petition. Petition is accordingly dismissed.
