The main Revision Application challenges the order of Additional Sessions Judge, Satara, for upholding the acquittal u/s 324 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code, and awarding lesser punishment for the offence punishable u/s 323 r/w 34 of the IPC.

Learned counsel for the Applicant submitted that the Applicant is a senior citizen and her financial condition is not good. Some time was spent in procuring papers, to collect money and to engage an advocate.

Considering these reasons, the delay of 42 days in preferring the Revision Application can be condoned in the interest of justice, inspite of opposition of the learned counsel for Respondent Nos.3 to 5.

(i) The delay of 42 days in preferring the Revision Application is condoned.

(ii) Office to process the Criminal Revision Application further and place it for admission on 03/10/2023.
