Not on board. Upon production taken on board. This is an application seeking transit bail in Case No. 313 of 2016 registered at Alipore Police Station, Kolkatta against the applicant for offence punishable under section 420, 406, 427 of the Indian Penal Code. The applicant has received a notice under Section 41A of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 on 4/3/2017. The learned Counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant desires to Talwalkar 1/2

Taking into consideration the contention raised in the application, the applicant deserves to be protected for a limited period.

Hence, following order :

ORDER

(i) The application is allowed.

(ii) In the event of arrest in C.R. No. 313 of 2016 registered with New Alipore Police Station, Kolkatta, the applicant be enlarged on bail on furnishing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs. 50,000/- and one or more local solvent sureties in the like amount. (iii) The protection shall remain in force for a period of four weeks i.e. till 7th April, 2017 only.
