In crime No.112/2019 for offence punishable under sections 9, 39, 48(A), 50 and 51 of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 registered with Bharatividyapeeth police station, Pune, the applicant is seeking pre­arrest bail.

Indial Pangolin, an animal which is on the verge of extinction was recovered from the vehicle of which applicant was custodian and was driven by the applicant. There is direct evidence available against the applicant. That being so, no case for grant of pre­ arrest bail is made out. The application is rejected. (NITIN W. SAMBRE, J.)
