Mr Anturkar points out that Petitioner No.2 has been SONALI MILIND PATIL debarred on 16th January 2014 from appearing in any UPSC examination for a period of 10 years. This is with effect from 13th January 2014.

As we have noted earlier, Petitioner No.1 is an organization. Petitioner No.3 did not appear for the preliminary UPSC examination. Petitioner No. 4 has cleared the preliminary 4th January 2022

905-WP-905-2021.DOC examination and is therefore, entitled to sit for the Main Examination. Only Petitioner No. 2 was pressing this Petition. 3.

In view of the statement that Mr Anturkar very fairly makes, the Petition is infructuous at the instance of Petitioner No.2. 4.

We therefore, dismiss the Petition as infructuous while clarifying that we have expressed no opinion on the merits of the controversies or the question of law that was sought to be agitated in this Writ Petition. We leave those contentions open and at large for an appropriate matter.
