On the Original Side, in Public Interest Litigation (L) No. 77 of 2016, the larger issue pertaining to the very same grievance is made not only in respect J.V.Salunke,P.S.

906-PIL.145.2014+1.doc of the police protection granted to private parties and non recovery of charges in the city of Mumbai, but also entire Maharashtra. Therefore, there is no need to continue the present Public Interest Litigations which involve individual cases, since the larger issue is already pending before the court.
